Applications
Stationary fuel cell applications
Stationary fuel cell applications (or stationary fuel cell power systems) are either connected to the electric grid to provide supplemental power and act as an emergency power system for critical areas or installed as a grid-independent generator for on-site service.
Uses of Stationary fuel cells
primary power source
Competing with the grid or being used in places where the grid cannot reach
supplemental power
Providing a boost to existing power sources
hybrid power systems
Providing primary or secondary power for photovoltaics, batteries, capacitors, or wind turbines
backup or power generator
Providing power when the grid is down
